Accidental
Death & Dismemberment Coverage (AD&D)
AD&D coverage relieves the financial burden that
can result following a fatal accident. According to the National
Safety Council, accidents are the leading cause of death among
Americans under the age of 37 and the 4th most frequent cause
among people of all ages.
FRSA CU offers all members 18 to 70 years of age $1,000 FREE
coverage. Members 70 and older are eligible for $500 of FREE
coverage. Insurance is provided through Progeny Marketing
Innovations, Inc. and underwritten by Hartford Life & Accident
Insurance Company. Enrollment forms are available from a member
services representative.
In addition to the $1,000 no-cost offer, members are eligible to
purchase from $10,000 to $250,000 of additional AD&D coverage at
low group rates. Family coverage is also available which pays a
percentage of the additional coverage amount to the spouse and
